Well this one’s a real biter; hatred, angst and bitterness unleashed into four minutes of musical genius. Yep, Glasvegas have struck back with a breakup ballad that screams overcast weather and gritty estates. As per, James Allan’s Scottish accent provides a solitary angle that cuts alongside sinister piano progressions, and to make matters more deep, it culminates in a Trainspotting like spout of poetry. Easily one of the best songs I’ve heard this year.
